Seriously, Robert… He’s a hardworking machine. Thank you very much. Leo Messi is heading for 6th Ballon d’Or. He’ll break… I am happy to be here. I managed to accept the invitation this time. Everything worked well for me to come here. And meet the others in a bit different outfit than the one that we wear everyday on the fields and stadiums. Huge congratulations for the 8th player in the world. It’s an enormous achievement. Thank you very much. What were your feelings? Everyone in Poland noticed your facial expression when it became official that you’re on the 8th place. Your expression was… interesting. What was that? No no, I was happy. I am really happy to be here. You know how it is with rankings. There are sometimes surprises, bigger or smaller. But I approach it with a smile on my face. It’s important, same as in football. I am very very proud that we are here. And that I can support my husband who became the 8th best. I hope he would do even better next year. But seriously, Robert… He’s a hardworking machine. And I’m very proud of him. A lot of people would say Robert is putting a bold face. Is he? I don’t think so. He’s an unshowy boy. Very hardworking. One would notice that, even though the outfit is different, you all have great respect to each other. And they all respect you, especially. We all know each other. From the pitch, from short chats around the matches. The contact is more regular with some of them, with others more rare… Obviously, the languages sometimes make the communication a bit more difficult. But you know, everyone of us feels different on the pitch than in the circumstances like the tonight’s ceremony. For me it’s a nice experience. I hope that everything we do now… both with the Polish National Team and Bayern Munich this season will pay off in the next year. Having such great fans, both in the national team and Bayern, especially in the national team I believe that this support always helps. I can feel this support from fans, on the pitch and out of the pitch. I experience a lot of good cheer, encouragement And it’s nice. I would like to thank all the fans, especially from Poland, for this support. You really do not feel tempted to tweet something in French, like 3 years ago? No no. As I said, there are surprises sometimes. Smaller or bigger. One can discuss who should win and who shouldn’t. But to be honest, this is something extra. Of course, I have ambitions I’m not talking only about this award, but about winning in general. not only on the pitch, but also out of it. But as I say, it is worth having a smile on your face around such things. One last thing. It is a pity you could’t give the Yashin’s Trophy to Wojtek Szczęsny, but to Alisson, isn’t it? It would be something great. It’s a pity. But I hope that one day we can still make it. It’s all happening very fast. Robert is coming back for his training session tomorrow morning. He starts at 9.30 am. It’s all been a very spontaneous and fast. But we are really proud to be here. And Robert… What can I say? I very proud of him.
