Melting Chococlate Cake Recipe (with description) | Carnival Cruise Recipes | Carnival Cruise Line


This video opens with a

“Melting Chocolate Cake,”
one of the Cruise Line’s
most popular desserts.
The video shows a small silver
saucepan inside a larger
black pan of boiling water on
an electric countertop burner.
Opening text: MELTING
CHOCOLATE CAKE. Carnival.
Ingredients are placed
around the pans.
Text: 6 ounces of butter; 6
ounces of chocolate; and water.
As water boils in the
black pan, the butter
and thick chocolate pieces
melt in the saucepan,
while being stirred.Now, ingredients are
placed around a bowl.
Text: 4 eggs; an ounce
and a half of sugar;
and one ounce of flour.The eggs and sugar are
whisked together in the bowl.
Then, the flour is mixed in.Next, the melted chocolate
is poured into
the egg and flour mixture…
and stirred.
[catchy piano music]The creamy batter
is scooped into
four white ceramic ramekins.Text: Bake at 390 degrees
Fahrenheit for 14 minutes.
Now, powdered sugar
is sprinkled over
the freshly baked
Melting Chocolate Cakes.
A cake, along with a
small dish of ice cream,
is brought to a
table with coffee.
